TRISMS uses a format of integrated study where all subjects focus on a point in time. By studying the Scientists, Inventions, and Explorers, the student gains skills in Reading, Vocabulary, Language Arts, Science, History, and Geography. History Makers develops research skills and critical thinking while developing a chronological and geographical progression through time: the big picture.

The History Makers was designed with the Year 7-8 student in mind. Nevertheless, it is easily adaptable to upper elementary and high school making an ideal choice in a multilevel setting. The TRISMS high school student will then take what they learned in The History Makers, and broaden their study. Discovering the Ancient World, Expansion of Civilizations, Rise of Nations and The Age of Revolution slows down the students progress along the timeline to immerse themselves in each civilization and their form of government, art, music, architecture, philosophy etc.
History Makers provides two years of study for a year 7, or a one year study for a Year 8 student. Excellent for co-ops, or multi-level setting, this versatile curriculum features a weekly lesson plan that eliminates hours of preparation and planning.
You set the pace with this curriculum covering the entire timeline in either one year or, more comfortably, in two. Answer keys are provided for all questionnaires and tests.
