Cedarwood Himalayan is a tall, evergreen tree standing up to 50m high. It grows extensively on the slopes of the Himalayas in northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

History: Also called Tibetan cedarwood. The ancient Egyptians used this oil to embalm, for cosmetics and perfumery.

Cautions: Avoid during pregnancy.

Safety data: Avoid during pregnancy; skin irritant (dilute before using externally); may trigger epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals.
